Volkswagen Announced an Entry-Level Model of its 2023 ID.4 EV
Colin Smith — July 29, 2022 — Autos
Volkswagen announced a new entry-level electric vehicle model, the '2023 ID.4,' now with a new trim. The new trim for the 2023 ID.4 boasts a more affordable price range, retailing for only $40,000 at MSRP for its base configuration. This places the 2023 ID.4 as one of the most affordable EVs on the market today.
Despite its relatively low MSRP, the 2023 ID.4 still delivers specifications that are powerful enough for most riders, particularly those based in city environments. This EV features a 64-kWh battery that will deliver approximately 300km of range per charge, a slight reduction from the premium ID.4 configuration, which achieves 400km of range. On top of this, the 2023 ID.4 with the more affordable trim features a fast-charging time of approximately 45 minutes for a full charge.
