From Ergonomic Upstanding Desks to Spine-Friendly Work Seats
Jamie Danielle Munro — April 26, 2014 — Art & Design
Upstanding desks are not the only things these days to help people improve their posture. Everything from yoga-inspired stools to workstations that allow people to lie down are hitting the market to try and improve one's health.
Considering just how many people spend hours sitting all day in front of a computer, it's not wonder that health problems when it comes to the back or neck area are occurring. The population was not meant to be sitting for hours at a time, but sadly this is the reality of the age of the Internet. Upstanding desks are one way to ensure you are not standing all day, and other options include seats that require some support from the legs in order to stay upright. Whatever you choose, just remember to make sure the item fits your body properly.
