From Upright Workstations to Rope-Secured Laptops
Jamie Danielle Munro — March 14, 2014 — Art & Design
The health benefits of exercising while doing one's work are becoming more and more apparent these days, and many individuals are opting for alternative upright workstations and various ways to sit in front of their laptops.
Some stations require a little more work than others, with some being placed on a treadmill or even a bike. The only difficulty with these kinds of alternative solutions is the danger involved if workers fall. Walking while concentrating on an important email is not for everyone, as multitasking is needed. If, however, you feel as if your dexterity is beyond average, these types of desks could push more oxygen to your brain, and even make you work harder. Just be careful about daydreaming, as this could end in a few injuries while at the office.
