From Sweet Fire Circles to Glass Spinning Wheels
Meghan Young — November 27, 2009 — Art & Design
I remember loving the feeling after you spin for an indefinite amount of time as a child. First of all, the spinning part is already fun as a sense of wild freedom overtakes your body. Then as you stop and the world continues to whirl around you, you gain a new, momentary (albeit distorted) perspective. It seemed we had our own form of intoxication as children.
With these spinning innovations, we can once again be inspired to think outside of the box. At the very least, maybe it’ll inspire us to forget the drink for one night and pick up the spins by literally spinning.
