From Social Media-Connected TVs to Brain-Controlled Televisions

The Smart TV is currently under attack due to a few faulty features in Samsung's line. First, it was announced that people's conversations around Samsung's Smart TV was being recorded without their knowledge and now ads are being placed in their own movies without their consent. Although it's only natural that kinks would need to be ironed out from new technology, these are quite big.
Of course, the Smart TV industry is still thriving as other brands begin to release their own options. People might be understandably wary about purchasing one of their own, but it is clear that as the competition continues to grow, the technology will get significantly better. Of course, only time will tell whether or not people will embrace Smart TVs completely or perhaps in some other way.
