Today more than ever, it seems that donning a pair of sky-high heels is more appropriate than ever for the modern woman. Although the footwear style has been panned by health professionals around the world as one of the leading causes of foot problems for those that wear them, high heels remain a cultural symbol of femininity.
Whether they're strictly reserved for a special occasion or worn to the office on a daily basis, we're seeing the intensity of sky-high heels heading even more upward. The previously conceived limits have seemingly gone out the window with designs hitting the shelves that don't even look safe, let alone able to be worn for any amount of time by any woman in her right mind.
