From Origami Faucets to Lamps

Origami housewares are a way of making the boring and mundane fun again. Most housewares are boring; furniture and shelves usually aren't much to look at or get excited over. Origami furniture and shelves, on the other hand, are cause for ohh and ahh.
Origami housewares turn the boring into interesting and the square into folded square. Take a look around and feel inspired to fold with these 16 Origami Inspired Housewares.
Implications - That's probably got the creator of origami furniture off his couch in the first place to create foldable furnishings. I'm also partial to the origami-inspired dishware, which looks as though someone folded ceramic into a paper boat. The origami faucet is also visually spectacular as metal is contorted to look like paper folds.
