New York Giants wide receiver Plaxico Burress is set to turn himself in on Monday after he shot himself in the leg at a nightclub last week. While we can’t speculate as to Plaxico Burress’s future with the Giants or the legal ramifications of his actions, we do know one thing: He needs to get his gun giddies out in a non-violent fashion.
If Plaxico Burress couldn’t successfully manipulate the safety on his firearm, one of these non-firing guns would be an excellent substitute for the Giants star. There are a number of different models, from a revolver-shaped hair dryer to a steampunk ray gun.
Rather than stashing a loaded gun on his bedroom dresser, Plaxico Burress would do well to replace it with Philippe Starck’s bedside gun lamp--it’s a personal accessory that won’t land him in jail or jeopardize his NFL career.
