From Mermaid Bars to Floating Gardens

This collection of nail-biting shark tanks celebrates the notorious Shark Week.
Many people have owned some sort of pet fish at some point in their lives. Fish are relatively easy to take care of and are usually inexpensive. The cost spectrum is a wide sliding scale for owning a swimming pet, seeing as there are pocket aquariums that look small enough for it to be considered animal cruelty and, on the other hand, some so elaborate that they cost millions of dollars. The simple rectangular aquarium is no longer the standard; there are now tanks embedded in dance floors and tanks that take the role as the central supporting column of a building.
If you are inspired by Shark Week to go out and get your own aquatic companion, rest easy knowing that there are a variety of aquarium habitats to choose from.
