From Deceiving Phone Decals to Building Block Cameras

If imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, then Leica Camera should feel pretty darn good about all of these lovely Leica spin-offs. Leica cameras are more popular now than ever before thanks to a resurgence in popularity of all things vintage. Leica cameras may have a vintage look and feel but they're still very expensive. This high price point has opened the door for other companies to sell Leica lookalike items.
The most common Leica lookalike is the vintage camera smartphone case. These cases instantly turn ordinary phones into 35mm cameras. Jewelry, stickers and LEGO models can also be found among all of these lovely Leica spin-offs. Disguising a $300 phone as a $500 Leica camera isn't the greatest of ideas, but the heart wants what it wants.
