When it comes to in-home air cleaners, the future may very well be leafy air purifiers. Designers have recently begun mixing in plants to their air purifier designs. Plants and trees are natural air purifiers, so the idea just makes sense. In addition to being logically sound, adding plants to air purifiers makes them less of an eyesore. Everyone likes plants in the house, but bulky air purifiers, not so much.
The majority of these leafy air purifiers are concept designs. That means that at this time you won't be able to buy a house plant that doubles as an air filter. However, it means that in the near-future that should all change as conceptual designs often foreshadow whats to come.
