These kid-friendly innovations at CES 2019 range from AR-enhanced boardgames to kid-safe media players. Products like Unicorn Games' The Explorers boardgame make classic gameplay more interactive for players of all ages thanks to integrated AR technology while the 'Birdie' smart media player that lets kids have access to age-appropriate and parent-approved content from names like The Wiggles, StoryBots and more.
The Artie 3000 coding robot is another notable example and is a toy centered around art and design. Inspired by the action of drawing on paper, the robot is compatible with a handful of devices including computers and tablets and translates code into shapes and forms.
