The J. Mayer H. architecture portfolio is rife with masterpieces that will define contemporary creations for years to come. Known for his modern and sculptural take on buildings of all shapes, sizes and purposes, Jürgen Mayer-Hermann, an artist and architect hailing from Stuttgart, Germany, has definitely left his stamp on the world of architecture. And he still has a so much more up his sleeve.
One of the most impressive J. Mayer H. architecture feats is when the firm was commissioned by Georgia's president Mikheil Saakashvili to design a range of rest stops, border checkpoints, airports, and other public buildings for his government. Although Saakashvili has since moved on from the presidency, these structures will forever "show Georgia's rich history, rapid modernization, and connection to the west," as noted by The Verge.
