iPhone 3G Ads Yanked in U.K.
Going Like Sixty — August 27, 2008 — Tech
Apple's iPhone 3G ads have been pulled from the U.K. air because the iPhone doesn't deliver the internet. The iPhone doesn't use Flash and Java, so what you see on the iPhone internet is different than what you see on other devices. The UK's Advertising Standards Authority says its agregious enough because the ad claims "all parts of the internet are on the iPhone" Apple certainly won't add Java or Flash but will have to be more careful in their boasts.
