Perfect for People Without Green Thumbs
Marissa Brassfield — March 5, 2009 — Eco
Like many people, I would love to have a big, beautiful garden filled with plants, flowers and vegetables. Unfortunately, my yard is where plants go to die. They're over-watered or under-watered, poisoned with too much fertilizer or malnourished for lack of it. They fall prey to neighborhood cats, falling lemons and the harsh winds that blow through the valley.
These foolproof plant and home garden designs are perfect for befuddled gardeners like me, who have the best of intentions but the worst possible implementation. Some tell you when they need water; others Twitter or lean to one side. Others are automatically regulated, eliminating the human aspect of plant care altogether.
