The retro handheld gaming system might be long-since outdated, but these GameBoy-inspired design finds help the little gadget live on into the 21st century. Gaming culture is often associated with being a little geeky, but many of the designs here expand into different areas of our culture including clothing and shoes that look to ensure that it's nothing but pure geek-chic styling.
What's interesting to note is the smartphone cases that transform devices into little GameBoys; a truly adorable meshing of old school tech and new age advancements. There are also a number of modified creations that use old GameBoys to perform new, unexpected duties like make hit music or even create miniature zombie-like tech characters.
