Beloved Children's Stories Used to Promote Places and Products
Katie Cordrey — January 11, 2009 — Art & Design
Fairy tales bring fantasy to life. The imagery and language of these fantastic stories engage us in ways that ordinary language and images do not.
Since the beginning of time, when people gathered around campfires to tell stories of the hunt, humans have engaged in embellishing and elaborating their exploits. Stories have been used to teach moral lessons and to give information about human relations. It has been said that “We are the stories we tell ourselves.” In many respects that is true. We cannot create what we cannot imagine, so until we imagine and communicate, our ideas cannot be manifested in life. This is an important part of telling stories.
Following are is a collection of promotional ideas inspired by the magical thinking found in the fairy tale. I hope that you will let your imagination soar as you explore them.
