These Chicago-operating ethical businesses are innovative models for social entrepreneurship and working to build the ever growing community in the area. What is Chicago known for in the media and in terms of popular conception? The Manual of Style, the birthplace of Kanye West, the most populace city in Illinois, etc. Perhaps quite a lot lately, for being the hometown of the U.S. President, Barack Obama, but even more so now, it's home to media attention for shootings and also, in the media the relationship between Chi-town rap scene (most notoriously consisting of Chief Keef) and said violence.
