From Polaroid Media Looks to 3D Fossils

These atypical printer designs are proof that the evolution of technology is impossible to stop. People could never dream about printing photos in their own home 20 years ago. Nowadays, there are printers capable of creating everything from fossils to toasts. Talk about the march of technology.
What makes all of these atypical printer designs so great is the clean split between the concepts and the actual working printers. For every 3D food printer concept featured here there's a real-world printer designed to spit out Post-It notes and ceramics. The best technology has to offer now and in the future is on full display here. Here's hoping that one day all meals and drinks will be printed. For some reason it seems like it would be easier to clean a food printer than a sink full of pots and pans.
