Sebastian Errazuriz Designs Divine High Heels for a Dozen Ex-Girlfriends
Amelia Roblin — February 18, 2014 — Fashion
This series, called 12 Shoes for 12 Lovers, demonstrates how an artist has decided to record some of the influential women of his past in a way that's compelling and memorable. Sebastian Errazuriz created a dozen Shoe Sculptures with each one representing a different past partner.
Almost every day from the end of November 2013, the artist posted a new eccentric design for wedges or stilettos that embodied some symbolic physical characteristics. Cupid's arrows, airplanes, toy soldiers and Virgin Marys are found amongst these pairs; meanwhile, other pumps seem to transform totally into stones, icicles, splashing liquids, honeycomb and weapons. Every set of the 12 Shoes for 12 Lovers is unique and divulges qualities about its singular muse.
