March 10th is a sensitive day for Tibet and China as it marks 50 years since a violent Tibetan uprising over autonomy of the land. Indeed, the persistent heat of this issue still lingering today has attracted wide international attention, intensely pro-Tibetan.
For all the conflict the Tibetans have endured, a lot of attention seems lost on their radiant and intriguing culture. Did you know Tibetans have literally evolved as a people to be able to survive at altitudes of up to 16,000 ft (4,800 m)? The rainbow of colors seen in their traditional clothing and buildings has become influential to design realms across the globe.
