I cut my teeth in mystery shopping and covert observational techniques - it's surprising how much crossover there is with trendspotting! Previous projects included brand compliance, brand recommendation studies and silent product retrieval. Now I'm having more fun by writing up the things I see around me, rather than what I'm sent to see.
