What is unique that's not in your bio?

I was assaulted by an NFL player and also have a knife wound that never fully healed. I climbed Half Dome the hard way, had artwork stolen from me by Volcom, and was clinically dead for 3 minutes.

What's your favorite accomplishment?

Learning a foreign language and sky diving.

How do you define cool?

Creative and innovative things or places that have yet to be come a focal point for the mass populous. The burgeoning idea, just before the bubble pops and everybody jumps on the bandwagon just to say "yeah i did/know that"

What is your secret to uncovering trends?

Flying Kites and divine inspiration.

What do you enjoy most about Trend Hunter?

The community. The ability for anyone anywhere in the world to make a contribution to a global network. We are truly alive in an amazing time, the world is still physically large, so travel is something that is not taken for granted, but idea and intellectual power cross oceans and continents in a heartbeat. We are the last generation of appreciation.

What are your tips for writing a juicy post?

Make everyone laugh and want to read on after they hit the first period, exclamation point, or question mark.

What inspires or excites you?

Everything. Being close the death has garnered a greater appreciation in the small things in life.
