Nike recently introduced its fastest shoes ever -- the Zoom VaporFly Elite Flyprint sneakers -- crafted in collaboration with Eliud Kipchoge. The Zoom VaporFly Elite Flyprint is the newest evolution of the Vaporfly 4% and the VaporFly Elite as both of the silhouettes took over the marathon circuit last year. The designers at Nike decided to keep the tooling of the shoes and dial when upgrading the uppers using 3D technology processes. This resulted in a sneaker that is 11 grams lighter than the previous iteration, along with increased breathability, and decreased moisture absorbing.
The sneakers' uppers are constructed with the latest innovative 3D-printed Nike Flyprint performance tech along with a full length carbon fiber plate. The heel is finished in a sturdy rubber material to protect the user against abrasions, and the label's iconic NikeZoomX sees the midsole unit for maximized support. The Zoom VaporFly Elite Flyprint are available now for a limited time through the Nike App for the price of $600 USD.
