One look at this amazing Zelda cake is enough to convince you that the makers are pretty much the greatest parents ever.
When Will Turnbow and his wife wanted to do something special for their daughter's tenth birthday, they put together this edible diorama of a Zelda cake that specifically references the most recent Zelda adventure, Skyward Sword. Many of the characters and creatures are mounted on moving poles so that scenery completely comes alive. The temple portion of the Zelda cake is especially scrumptious; the entrance is made out of six batches of Rice Krispies treats, and the backside is made out of nine layers of cake.
As impressive as the Zelda cake was, Turnbow claims that he originally planned for four times as many characters and 90 percent of his ideas.
