Very Simple Kitchen works in collaboration with Pietra Compattata on the new Zdora project and installation. It is a colorful and graphic range of textiles that are seen in the form of tables, seating tops, and kitchen walls. The surfaces are made exclusively from natural raw materials and are done by La Pietra Compattata.
This includes materials such as porphyry, quartz, and granite, which have been recovered from processed stones. It is grounded into a mixture and then compacted into a hard material that is pressed down. Notably, Confalonieri curated the perfect tonal palette for the installation that matches the variations that are proposed by Very Simple Kitchen. The tables imitate the look of the tablecloth which falls over the edges.
