Delivery company Zapp has announced a new ‘Period Store’ designed to sell menstrual products in an accessible and efficient fashion. The store will include organic tampons and pads, menstrual cups, liners, treats, magnesium products, chocolate, and hot water bottles.
The delivery service will launch on Saturday, May 28, 2022 for National Period Hygiene Day. With every hot water bottle purchase, Zapp will be donating £2 to Period Poverty UK, a charity organization dedicated to eliminating period poverty in struggling communities by 2025.
Zapp’s Catalogue Manager, Silje Renberg Kvavik, stated: "We hope these will not only be Zapped by people needing them, and fast, but also by friends and family to someone suffering with period pains."
