The 'Z3' Phone by Samsung Uses a Tizen-Powered Operating Platform

Tech giant Samsung created the 'Z3' phone as an updated version of its highly successful 'Z1' model. The smartphone has officially been released in India and costs about $100.

The highlighting feature of the Z3 phone is it dismissal of the Android-based operating system. Instead, the phone uses a Tizen operating system. This is a more accessible platform for the brand to use, which will allow it to cater more directly to the user-specific needs of consumers in India.

The entire phone is powered by a "64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 chipset paired with 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage."
