The student who designed these lovely burlap sacks was disappointed with the amount of plastic she found within the original wrappers, and thus decided to make it her mission to resolve this sustainability sin. Kristina Suniga opted for bags made of woven natural fibers that come from nature, undergo little to no chemical treatment, and can be disposed of and expected to break down in the soil.
In spite of these considerations, the overly organic aesthetic that could have been created was avoided with the cute and brightly colored labeling printed directly onto the Yummy Earth packaging.
