Inverted Reflection Photography

Yodamanu Creates Cinematic Scenes with His Lens

Photographer Manuel Plantin a.k.a. Yodamanu has created an alternative approach to photography with his upside-down perspective.

His ravishing shots explore the world of reflections and the silhouettes created. The subject and background of each shot alters dramatically. Plantin took the photos through puddles on the street, allowing a reflection and cinematic picture to manifest itself organically. The photographs are meant to engage the viewer to look closely at the body of work and examine different perspectives. It is a series of topsy-turvy shots that can be disorienting, but once you look at them for a while, one can develop a connection to this upside down realm.

Yodamanu is forcing people to examine reality and the doors of perception from an altered angle.
