The YEG Coffee Can is a mobile coffee shop in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada that boasts a deceivingly compact design that features all the conveniences of a traditional cafe within. The cafe is housed in a 15-foot shipping container that has been painted completely black for a demure look and emblazoned with the phrase, "THERE IS A COFFEE SHOP INSIDE HERE" to draw in curious coffee drinkers. The interior features granite countertops and durable vinyl flooring, while the coffee bar is capable of offering batch-brew, pour-over, cold-brew and doughnuts.
The YEG Coffee Can was created by owner Tony Phung who worked on the cafe for around two months before opening it to the public on June 10. The mobile design of the cafe enables it to be easily relocated to different parts of the downtown area.
