The London-based fashion brand 'maharishi' released its latest work -- the Year of the Dog tour jacket. Crafted in honor of the upcoming lunar holiday, the jacket features details to celebrate the Chinese New Year of the Dog. maharishi released a similar initiative last year to celebrate the previous Year of the Rooster. This year, the black and gold Year of the Dog tour jacket is crafted from Moon Melton wool and decorated with golden embroidery details on the front and back of the piece.
The embroidered details on the front of the jacket represent that motif of "East meets West," represented by a British Bulldog and a Chinese Lion Dog. On the back of the jacket, maharishi highlights the theme of pacifism and does so by having a Winston Churchill quote embellished. It reads, "peace in the east, love in the west." The Year of the Dog tour jacket will be limited but available on February 2nd exclusively from maharishi.
