To ensure durability and strength, the frame is cut from a 1/2" thick aluminum plate. The band is made from a Thera-Band Gold material which has a 16 pound pull resulting in approximately a 28" draw. For ammo, the Y-Fork Slingshot can use 1/2 pound lead bearings or .44 cal lead balls for maximum results; however, in emergency situations one can use stray rocks and pebbles to hunt for food.
Ideal for small game hunting (birds and rodents), target practice or home defense -- I would not mess with someone wielding a slingshot -- the Y-Fork Slingshot by Montie Gear is a reliable addition to any camping or survival kit.
