The first-ever womenswear line by contemporary brand Our Legacy is debuted at Stockholm Fashion Week. The Spring/Summer 2019 collection is entitled 'Synthesis' and the silhouettes are breezy, sophisticated and abstract.
Dominated by boxy and slouchy designs that exude a sense of comfort, the offerings — both in the menswear and womenswear lines, have an interesting source of inspiration. Our Legacy co-founder, Christopher Nying, spoke to digital publication platform HYPEBAE about the concept that drove the Spring/Summer 2019 collection. While contemporary fashion labels tend to produce outfits that are strongly informed by urban and futuristic landscapes, Our Legacy turned to agriculture. Tapping into fabrics that are inspired by farming and "pest control methods," both the menswear and womenswear lines have a wonderfully unique approach to contemporary fashion design.
