French health tech company Withings has announced the launch of the Withings Body Scan, a one-of-a-kind at-home device that can be used to accurately monitor various elements of one's health. These include heart rate, vascular age, and segmental body composition.
The Withings Body Scan features a tempered glass platform, a retractable handle, four weight sensors, and 14 electrodes, all of which are used together to scan a user's body, from which the device can then produce a range of valuable health-related data. In addition, the device can be connected to Apple Health, making accessing and analyzing the data a straightforward process.
"We will empower our users with the ability to take meaningful actions based on medical-grade data, adding a new dimension to ongoing lifestyle and chronic condition management through the ultimate in-home health experience," said Mathieu Letombe, the CEO of Withings.
