Wireless Security Cameras

Arlo’s Home Security Range Runs on Lithium Battery Power

Arlo’s wireless security camera is free from a traditional power cable and runs on lithium battery power. Netgear is calling the breakthrough, "The world’s first truly wireless security system." Arlo cameras can be placed indoors and outdoors. In fact, they can go anywhere as long as they are within 300 feet of the connection hub that connects the Netgear router. Moreover, the wireless security devices can beam any video updates on one’s computer or mobile device.

For the Arlo system, surveillance runs from 10 seconds to up to two minutes and each camera is equipped with four CR123 lithium batteries -- the base station is what joins your home network. Using its accompanying Arlo apps, users of this home security system will be able to access camera footage both with iOS and Android systems.
