The Winnebago eRV2 is Built on the Ford E-Transit Electric Chassis

The Winnebago eRV2 prototype is showing off an efficient design that's positioned to help change the game when it comes to van life exploration. The camper van is built on the Ford E-Transit electric chassis and is capable of delivering up to 108-miles of range thanks to the 68kWh battery with. The van is capable of producing up to 900W of electricity from the solar panel system, which is kept stowed in the 15kWh house battery that will power the internal comfort amenities.

President of Winnebago Huw Bower spoke further on the inspiration behind the Winnebago eRV2 prototype saying, "Our primary goal in building the eRV2 was to help people comfortably explore the world around them with less environmental impact. The user experience was at the heart of this prototype’s development, through the early days of market research and even now as it goes through field testing."
