The super talented Dutch photographer Erwin Olaf did not mind getting outrageous with this fashion editorial for the latest issue of Elle Magazine.
Shot at the elegant and up-scale Amstel Hotel in Amsterdam, the spread, which is entitled "The Praise of Folly", captures a distillation of wild and merry party goers who are involved in an extravagant, vaudevillian and anything-goes celebration.
Olaf’s lavish and busy set is rife with clownish characters who are glammed up in the most exuberant and over-the top make up and costumes.
The great photographer is known for his unrestrained but elegant sets and "The Praise of Folly" in spite of its decadent tone, is my absolute favorite!
