The luxury timepiece manufacturer 'Omega' has launched a celebratory timepiece called the 'White Gold Omega.' This timepiece is a recreation of the original 'Speedmaster' watch that Omega launched 65 years ago. However, the White Gold Omega is redesigned for the modern-day and made almost entirely out of solid gold.
The body for this timepiece is made out of 18K white gold alloy with several accented pieces made out of different materials, such as the Onyx dial and enamel-infilled bezel numerals. The timepiece also features a sapphire eye, which is the standard marker of a 65th anniversary. The chronograph for this watch is Omega's Speedmaster Calibre 321.
While this watch has not yet been released to the public, it is available for individual preorder at participating boutiques which can be contacted from Omega's website. The price of this limited edition luxury timepiece is $81,000 USD.
