Ricoh unveiled the 'WG-80,' a compact, rugged camera with exceptional waterproofing capabilities. The camera exceeds waterproofing standards by being fully waterproof up to a depth of 46 feet before becoming at risk of damage. Additionally, the camera has automatic light sensitivity adjustment and an array of six LED lights to ensure visibility in the depths of a waterbed.
The device also features electronic image stabilization and an 'Intelligent Zoom' function that allows it to record stable, clear footage, even when magnifying the zoom by 36x. For photographers who are interested in the device's on-land resistances, it is crushproof up to 100kgf and it meets IPX6 dustproof standards, meaning it is also quite weatherproof. On top of this, the WG-80 can survive a drop of up to five feet without cracking or taking physical damage.
