The Strand Craft V8 Wet Rod is a luxury personal watercraft designed to provide uncompromising opulence and performance on the water. It was designed by yacht designer Kurt Strand.
The Wet Rod, which is still in development, will sport a sleek16-foot carbon finer/epoxy body. It will be equipped with a 300-horsepower, 5.7-liter V8 engine. Its water jet propulsion system will enable it to hit an impressive top speed of 105 km/h.
The Wet Rod will be available later this year, with prices starting at $49,000. It can be purchased with a range of optional extras including wood or carbon fiber inlays, custom paint, a sound system and GPS capability. It will also be fitted with an ice box under the seat for drinks storage.
