Bold and bright looks have certainly been dominating the runways and trend reports for the past few seasons, but they have never been so luxuriously presented as they were in the Wes Gordon Spring 2012 presentation during New York Fashion Week. The designer stuck to his signature tailored looks with a chic downtown-girl twist.
"[I] focused this time on irreverence, a mismatch of day and cocktail -- the embellished jacket with the pair of skinny jeans, or a lurex pant with a little blazer," explained Gordon.
The young designer makes even "all black everything" type of girls like myself fall in love with bold pops of color. The standout look of the collection for me was definitely the stunning navy and white striped maxi skirt paired with a bright yellow tank top. Chic and comfortable, what could be better?
