The 'Welcome' decor piece has been designed by Fabio Novembre for the Italy-based Driade studio as a multifunctional solution for the home that puts items on display and more.
The piece maintains a pedestal-like construction that functions as an object holder for placement at an entryway, a bureau or a dining table. The pedestal is suitable for placing items like small objet d'art pieces or even edible treats, while the underside of the topper is equipped with a light. This can be activated via a built-in switch and will deliver up to eight-hours of use per charge of the internal battery pack.
Novembre commented on the 'Welcome' decor piece saying, "Perhaps these little tools that accompany us in different environments and atmospheres, on a dining table or on a bedside table next to our bed, could also help us to accommodate other objects, to highlight them or simply to keep them close at hand."
