While some home goods retailers offer in-store kiosks and tablet screens to help couples arrange the items they'd like to place on a wedding registry, Zola's entire wedding shop pop-up is built around helping visitors quickly and easily assemble their ideal wedding gift list.
The NFC-enabled wedding pop-up shop displays more than 2,000 gifts, each of which has its own NFC tag that can be scanned in place of a barcode. Using the Zola mobile app, couples are able to instantly add a desired gift to their registry, or learn more about the details of that specific item.
Zola's NYC pop-up was initially set to be open from January to April of this year but it will now be stationed in the city until June—which is perfect for wedding season.
