There are two things that can be learned by looking at Paul Shanghai's water drawings. The first is that you can't always trust your eyes.; the second is that Paul Shanghai is a seriously talented artist who may or may not have sold his soul in order to create gorgeous works of art.
These water drawings are so realistic that it bears repeating that these are in fact drawings from pencil and not created using any digital means. The 'Water Dragon'for example was made using a 0.5 mechanical 4B pencil and took over 60 hours to complete.
Water is able to create life. Interestingly enough, it would appear that Paul Shanghai is able to create water.
