I vividly recall my childhood summer days in the pool pretending to be a mermaid, but I could never hold my breath or keep my eyes open long enough to do my imagination justice--with the Water Cube pavilion, however, I won't have to go red in the face to pretend I live underwater.
Designed by MRDV for the 2012 World Expo in Yeosu, Korea, the Water Cube pavilion is comprised of water filled basins which not only control the climate to an extent, but also serve as the main attraction. Take a look at the gallery to see this beauty.
