This smart wall clock design was created for people who are too attached to their smart phones and have an issue with hyperconnectivity. Currently in beta, the Smart Clock by Ingrein Design has a hardwood square face with two standard hands that are featured on many analog clocks. However, a small screen toward the base gives it a scale-like appearance. This screen also displays notifications related to temperature and text messages.
The internet-connected clock is both modern and retro at the same time. While the wall clock design is both minimalist and classic, it also light up and makes sounds to notify people nearby of important messages. This includes weather forecast as well as app integration and motion detection. Setup is easy, enabling users to choose priority apps like Facebook and Whatsapp.
