The Walking Cabinet by Markus Johansson is Full of Movement

The Walking Cabinet beautifully demonstrates how a static design doesn't have to look static at all. Although it isn't actually walking as its name suggests, the placement of its legs and twist of its body gives the appearance that it has been captured in mid-stride. In fact, each Beetle in the iconic Abbey Road photograph can hilariously be replaced with a Walking Cabinet for the same effect.

Designed by Swedish designer Markus Johansson, the Walking Cabinet can be used on its own or in conjunction with others. Fitting together like puzzle pieces, they can form a longer cabinet for bigger homes. They could even be left slightly apart to make it apear "almost like a playful and harmonic dance," as described by Johansson.
