Nike brings life back to one of its oldest running shoes: the Waffle Trainer sneaker. It has a slim silhouette and it was first designed back in the 70s. It has a sleek theme and instead of the classic nylon material along the upper, the shoe is constructed with a breathable mesh base and finished with a vintage black hue.
The new update retains classic details from the original shoe. This includes the suede touches that decorate parts of the upper and of course, the iconic Waffle sole unit that rests below. Other details include the yellowed midsole unit that gives it a vintage touch and also nods to the shoe's age. It is set to launch later this year as a part of the Fall 2024 drop.
