Volvo Trucks' 'The Ballerina Stunt' is a terrifying endeavour in marketing. To prove the safety, steadfastness and security of its trucks, Volvo hired Faith Dickney, the world record-holding high-lining champ to tightline across two moving trucks on a highway.
The stunt is not a fake and was coordinated by Peter Pedrero, who worked in the Harry Potter, James Bond and Pirates of the Caribbean series to prefect the stunts for those movies.
When the trucks reach the tunnel in Vrgorac, Croatia, the line holding up Dickey snaps, meaning that the courageous tightliner must be able to navigate from one side of a massive truck to the other before her time runs out. The incredible test of skill on both Dickey and Volvo's parts is worth the watch.
